Accounting resumes are screened for close ownership, standards, and systems — not a generic “detail-oriented” summary.

What to put first

Recent roles should name the entity type, the close cadence, and one control or reporting duty you held. Software belongs next to the work, not as a lonely skills cloud.

Qualifications (CPA, ACCA, date-qualified) go where the country of the employer expects them. Do not imply a license you do not hold.

Do I list every ERP I have opened?

List systems you posted in or owned. A long tool list with no close or reporting story reads as keyword padding.

Is a one-page accountant resume enough?

Often yes early on. Keep the evidence for this posting; do not shrink type to hide a relevant role.
